Registered Dietitian, Diabetes Specialist
and founder of Resilient Nutrition
Originally from Vermont, Tegan grew up surrounded by rolling hills, farms, and fresh air. Helping her grandfather plant a garden each year and eating fresh cucumbers and pea pods right from the ground instilled the foundation of a healthy life from a young age.
With a passion in food and nutrition, Tegan pursued a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Vermont and then completed the dietetic internship at Keene State College to become a registered dietitian nutritionist.
Dreaming of a warmer climate and the beach, she set off to Florida to begin her career. Honing skills during her time in outpatient nutrition in a Diabetes Accredited program within the esteemed Cleveland Clinic, led her to find her passion in weight management and diabetes. Eventually realizing that only so much can be done in a single 1-hour visit she wanted to create a program where people with prediabetes or insulin resistance could make lasting change and stop struggling with rising blood sugars once and for all.
She also witnessed several family members be diagnosed with prediabetes and eventually type 2 diabetes, including her beloved grandfather, and saw firsthand what it can lead to if not managed properly. This led Tegan to open her private practice, Resilient Nutrition, and create the Better Blood Sugar Program.
The BBS Program became the all-encompassing solution to to reverse prediabetes and insulin resistance without overwhelm or restriction. It targets all of the key pieces necessary to simplify the process and focus on what works. You will learn exactly how to eat to balance blood sugars and all of the other key lifestyle strategies to avoid getting diabetes in a 4-month program.

Resilience is such a concept of strength. The business was founded on the idea that our bodies can recover and "bounce back" from sickness, injury, certain diseases and years of negative habits. Prediabetes is one of the conditions we know can be stopped in its path, before it progresses into Type 2 diabetes.
Our bodies are truly amazing and resilient. Changes in our lifestyle at any point in life can make a huge difference. Your health and longevity is in YOUR control and I am here to empower you to take charge today.
